Economic development activity in Delaware County topped Muncie Journal’s most viewed stories list for 2016. The announcement of an upcoming Fresh Thyme Farmers Market on McGalliard topped the list with over 12,300 story views in 24 hours—a pretty good showing for a hyper-local publication that only covers content from Delaware County. You’ll find the rest of our most viewed stories below. You can click on any story headline to review the initial story and the date it was published. Here’s our top 10 list for 2016, as of 5:30am, December 29th. Scroll down to see the rest of the list.

Editor’s Note: Since the Fresh Thyme story was our most popular story, I had the not-so-brilliant idea yesterday to try and take a video tour of one of these stores in Fishers, so our readers could see what what one of the stores might look like inside. I tried to cushion and shock-proof the camera, but my efforts were disappointing. (The rolling grocery basket proved to be too bumpy for my footage.)  In fact, I have pondered whether or not to even post this video. However, you do get a small sense of what Fresh Thyme is like inside. Very airy and open. My apologies for the video quality. Might try to redo this…
