MUNCIE, IN—The March first Thursday will feature artistic works by Tom Stader.

Tom Stader is a contemporary arts elder whose work reflects both a deep connection to the local landscape and a lifetime of artistic devotion. His paintings capture the spirit of the land, whether through sweeping vistas, intimate natural details, or the changing moods of the seasons. His brushwork is expressive, his palette rich with the vibrant colors of our region and beyond. His compositions are infused with a sense of place that only comes with years of observation and reverence.

Beyond his art, he is a mentor, a storyteller, and a keeper of creative traditions. He has inspired generations of artists, sharing his knowledge, techniques, and passion for the land and its beauty. His presence in the arts community is not just about his own work, but about the connections he fosters—the conversations, the encouragement, and the history he carries forward.

Stader’s exhibit will be honoring his journey, while also showcasing his latest creations. His painting presence will be bridging past and present through his art.

Our musical guest, Jess Jones, is an introspective Folk music artist. Jess channels the heart and soul of Folk and alt-country music. Inspired by everyday life and hardships, are his poignant lyrics. Always playing from the heart, Jess seeks the essence of life in his music, creating a powerful emotional connection with his audience. Jesse draws upon his Midwestern roots and life experiences, painting vivid narratives in his songs. Join us for another great evening celebrating Muncie’s cultural zone.
