MUNCIE, IN — The Delaware County Democratic Party is proud to announce a dynamic new leadership team dedicated to advancing Democratic ideals and strengthening the party’s relevance in Muncie and Delaware County. The newly elected leadership team is committed to delivering ethical and transparent outcomes, and stands ready to organize, engage, and advocate for citizens and taxpayers who believe in a more collaborative government built on fiscally responsible policies and practices.
Leading the charge is Andrew Dale as Chairperson, alongside Joann McKinney as Vice Chairperson, Jim Lutton as Secretary, and Jason Walker as Treasurer. Together, they represent a unified vision of progress, inclusivity, and a commitment to Democratic values.
“This is a moment of renewal and momentum for the Delaware County Democratic Party,” said Chair Andrew Dale. “We are reorganizing and restructuring to better meet the current and future needs of our community, office holders, and candidates. Our focus is clear: we’re here to strengthen our party, advocate for working people and the middle class, and to ensure that we operate with integrity and transparency. Our door is open and there’s a seat at the table for those who want to make a positive and tangible change.”
The leadership transition marks a new path forward, bringing together dedicated Democrats, grassroots organizations, private business, and the Delaware Democratic Central Committee to advance Muncie and Delaware County’s best future. The team is committed to vigorously resisting efforts that undermine progress by promoting policies that uplift families, workers, and the local economy.
