MUNCIE, IN— The 2023 Greater Muncie Chamber of Commerce Legacy Gala was held Thursday, August 31 at the Horizon Convention Center honoring Jon H. Moll, retired attorney.
Among those who paid tribute to the legacy of Mr. Moll were Mr. Stefan Anderson, Retired CEO of First Merchants Bank; Rev. Dr. Ron Naylor, Retired Pastor, First Presbyterian Church; Dr. John Worthen, Retired President of Ball State University; and Mr. Jim Williams, Attorney at DeFur Voran LLP.
Nicholas Tokar, attorney at tokar.law LLC and Chairman of the Greater Muncie Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors presented the award to Moll.
“As we gather tonight to present Jon with the 2023 Legacy Award, we recognize the profound impact he has had on our community. His tireless efforts have enriched our lives, demonstrating that true leadership is not about grand gestures but about steadfast actions that ripple through time. Muncie stands as a testament to Jon’s dedication, a community that thrives due to his dedication and selflessness,” said Tokar.

The Greater Muncie Chamber of Commerce Legacy Award is presented annually to an individual or individuals who has made extraordinary, sustained, and positive contributions to the Muncie-Delaware County community at large, and who has provided leadership in the development of programs, events, and/or new traditions that promote goodwill and community pride.
