The Rotary Club of Muncie Endowment Fund Grant Application Deadline is August 31st

MUNCIE, IN—The Muncie Noon Rotary Club Board of Directors considers grant requests annually. The Club typically awards between $8,000-$10,000 annually to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. The Board evaluates all requests as objectively as possible, consistent with the expressed priorities of the Club.

Last year, grant funding was awarded to the following local nonprofit organizations: 8Twelve Coalition, Funders Forum, Habitat for Humanity, Home Savers of Delaware County, Little Red Door Cancer Agency, Muncie Children’s Museum, Muncie Civic Theatre, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Soup Kitchen of Muncie totaling nearly $12,000.

The Rotary Club of Muncie Fund at The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County was established in 1994 and has funded more than $200,000 in grants since its inception. Annual grants from the Rotary Club of Muncie Fund are used to support specific programs of local area nonprofit organizations.

Grant requests will be considered for review based on the following community priorities:

  • Education
    • Arts/Culture
    • Human Services
    • Economic Development
    • Community Betterment

The Muncie Noon Rotary Club will generally not consider:

  • Multi-year commitments
    • Support for individual political parties/candidates or for religious teachings and programs
    • Support for operating or budget deficits, capital campaigns, endowments, or individuals
