MUNCIE, IN—Calling all creatures great and small! Bring your human DWNTWN Saturday, October 28, from 12–3 p.m. and show off their creativity.
All furry, feathered, scaled, hairy, or hairless costumed friends are welcome. Humans must be leashed to their creatures. FREE to participate.
11:30 A.M.
Parade line-up will begin at the County Building (Main & Walnut)
12:00 P.M.
Parade starts and will proceed to Canan Commons. Judging will be held at the Canan Commons Stage. Top 3 will be awarded prizes in each of the following catagories:
– Best Creature Costume
– Best Human and Creature Combo
– Best Human Costume
– Free hot dogs to the first 100 costumed parade participants at 12:30
12:45 P.M.
Indiana Wild will present a program celebrating human-animal cultural connections, featuring animals including an armadillo, hedgehog, owl, gator, snake, tortoise, lizard, bug, frog or toad. Volunteers will be included in the program.
1:30–3:00 P.M.
Trick-or-Treating with DWNTWN Businesses (Look for the pumpkin balloons to find participating retailers. Maps will be available.)
