Co-Founder Ron Fauquher to Retire After 39 Years with the Company
Muncie, IN – Ontario Systems, a leading provider of enterprise software that automates complex workflows and accelerates revenue recovery for clients in the healthcare, accounts receivable management (ARM), and government markets, today announced that effective immediately, Jason Harrington, President of Ontario Systems, will succeed retiring Co-Founder and CEO Ron Fauquher to become the fourth CEO in the company’s nearly 39-year history.
A native of Muncie, Indiana, where Ontario Systems’ headquarters is located, Harrington has been with the company for 22 years and brings 24 years’ experience in finance, marketing, sales, software operations, and technical support to his new role as CEO. He also brings a deep understanding of Ontario Systems’ customers and markets. Responsible for day-to-day operations as company President, Harrington will now take on additional responsibilities for corporate services including People Services, Finance, and merger and acquisition activity.
“Words cannot express my appreciation and gratitude for Ron,” Harrington said. “He has led this company to heights some didn’t think possible, and I have learned so much from him as a mentor and friend. I consider it my greatest professional honor and privilege to be the one asked to lead Ontario Systems into the next chapter of growth and success. I know our future is bright because of the team’s ability and the market opportunities we have in front of us. Wil and Ron started a great company 39 years ago, and they have grown and nurtured it the right way with the highest degree of integrity, by servicing clients with excellence, and by putting the team first. I plan to continue to lead by following their example of servant leadership and humility.”
“With Jason at the helm, I’m excited about our future,” said Casey Stanley, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Ontario Systems. “I’ve known and worked with Jason for over 20 years, at Ontario Systems and elsewhere, both domestically and internationally. With Jason’s outstanding leadership, we will continue to make great strides in the marketplace and serve our customers, employees, and communities well.”
Fauquher, having served in various leadership positions since cofounding Ontario Systems in 1980, was appointed to the role of CEO in 2012. He presided over several inflection points in the company’s history, including two key acquisitions and breakthrough technical innovations, and oversaw a period of tremendous growth and market success. Under Fauquher’s leadership, Ontario Systems expanded its healthcare-market footprint, entered government markets, doubled its revenues, and grew its client base to more than 1,200 healthcare providers, ARM businesses, and government entities.
Going forward, Fauquher will serve as an advisor to Ontario Systems’ Board of Directors, CEO, and management team, and will work on special projects and assist where needed.
“I am tremendously proud of the outstanding team of associates at Ontario Systems, especially for the way they put customer success first and foremost in everything they do,” said Fauquher. “I am also deeply confident that under Jason Harrington’s leadership—and with our new principal investor, New Mountain Capital—the Ontario Systems team will continue to help our customers grow and prosper in even more robust ways in the future.”
