MUNCIE, IN—Jackson Taylor from Muncie has been named to Orr Fellowship’s newest cohort for 2025. He is among 74 talented college seniors who have been matched with leading Indiana-based partner companies to embark on a two-year Fellowship upon graduation.

Taylor is currently a student at Indiana State University (ISU), graduating this May. Following graduation from ISU, Taylor will begin his Orr Fellowship as a Business Development Representative for Toolsey, a cloud-based lead management platform for the home services industry.

Orr Fellowship is an early career development program for versatile high-achievers and future-focused businesses in Indiana. The program recruits, assesses and matches university graduates with high-agency roles in growing Indiana businesses.

Since 2001, Orr Fellowship has been helping talented college graduates launch their careers.  Over two years, Fellows gain hands-on experience working full-time with one of 60 partner companies in fields like marketing, consulting, engineering and tech. Beyond their day-to-day roles, Fellows grow through opportunities like hearing from top executives, taking on nonprofit consulting projects and learning essential life skills, such as managing personal finances.

Fellows are selected for their strong leadership potential, academic achievements and commitment to community impact. Over two years, they gain hands-on experience with companies in diverse fields, from marketing to engineering, while participating in professional development opportunities, nonprofit consulting projects and leadership training.

This year’s Fellows, formally selected after Finalist Day interviews in Indianapolis and Evansville, will gain unparalleled career development, an expedited pathway into the Kelley Evening MBA program, formal leadership training and community building within Indiana’s thriving business ecosystem. The program’s growth ensures a pipeline of qualified talent that directly impacts Indiana’s economic and entrepreneurial landscape.

“We are thrilled to welcome this new group of talented individuals to Orr Fellowship,” said Steven Emch, President of Orr Fellowship. “These Fellows demonstrate the leadership potential and innovative thinking that will drive Indiana’s business community forward. With the addition of the Evansville Region chapter, we are expanding our reach across the state and cultivating a network of leaders committed to Indiana’s growth and success.”

For the first time, the new Orr Fellowship cohort includes graduates from Clemson University, Capital University and Grand Canyon University, further expanding its national reach.

This year’s cohort includes Fellows matched with a diverse range of companies, from startups to established global enterprises. Partner companies span across Greater Indianapolis and the Southwest Indiana region.

Building a strong sense of community is at the heart of Orr Fellowship. This commitment shines through in the program’s impact with more than 84% of its alumni staying in Indiana after completing their fellowship, playing a key role in helping the state keep its brightest talent.
