Muncie, IN— Wicked Plants the Exhibit is a fun way for the entire family to explore the odd and exciting in the world of botany. The exhibit is set to open at Minnetrista on Saturday, January 19.
Inspired by Amy Stewart’s best-selling book, Wicked Plants: The Weed that Killed Lincoln’s Mother and other Botanical Atrocities. Wicket Plants the Exhibit is a fun-filled, family-friendly look at some of the world’s most dangerous plants, many of which are commonly found in homes and gardens. Exciting interactives fill a Victorian-era ramshackled home where visitors move from room-to-room uncovering secrets and learning about the history, science, and legend of various medicinal and poisonous plant life.
The exhibit is designed to appeal to all ages, so grab the family and prepare to be surprised! Wicked Plants the Exhibit includes an interactive walkthrough , a fully-realized Victorian-era home, mysteries and puzzles, and lots of educational opportunities. The exhibit opens on Saturday, January 19 and runs through May 19 at Minnetrista.
The Wicked Plants exhibit is funded by The North Carolina Arboretum Society and the Creel-Harison Foundation.
