Retiring Indianapolis Colts linebacker Robert Mathis was in Muncie Tuesday. He autographed posters and other memorabilia for hundreds of fans who turned out for the event at Toyota of Muncie. Robert, who has been to Muncie numerous times to visit with fans, was very gracious and seemed to really enjoy interacting and kidding around with the fans in attendance. Many kids (and adults) appeared to be awestruck at the opportunity to meet Robert in person and to wish him well during his retirement.
A continuous line of fans showed up to meet Robert— get a handshake, a smile and perhaps a signature on a football or jersey.
Robert spent his entire career (14 years) with the Indianapolis Colts organization. WLBC broadcast the event live. Click on any thumbnail below to view a few pictures from the event.
