MUNCIE— The National Model Aviation Museum is excited to invite the public to its first ever Hops and Props event on October 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. This is an after-hours program for adults ages 21 and older. Whether you are a first-time visitor or have been to the National Model Aviation Museum many times, this is a great way to experience something new and see all that the museum has to offer.
“The museum is excited to welcome adults in the area for a night of fun, food, drinks, and aviation,” said Michael Smith, museum director. “We have a lot to offer the community and [we] hope this event brings out people who may not be familiar with the museum or the Academy of Model Aeronautics.”
Hops and Props will offer visitors an opportunity to explore the museum after-hours, try local craft beer from New Corner Brewing Company, eat food provided by the Rolling Luau, and build their own model airplanes. The event costs $10 per person, which includes museum entry, the model airplane workshop, and one drink ticket. Additional drinks and food will be available for purchase. Join the National Model Aviation Museum for what is sure to be a fun and unique night out.
