Indiana University Health Blackford Hospital recently earned the 2015 National Most Wired Hospital recognition for the second year in a row. IU Health Blackford Hospital continues to provide phenomenal techniques by joining technology with patient engagement. Hospitals and Health Networks sponsor the annual Most Wired Survey, which is an industry-standard benchmark study that has been around for more than 15 years.

The survey is intended to measure the level of IT adoption in U.S. hospitals and health systems and is a helpful tool for leadership to map their IT strategic plans. Over the years, hospitals and healthcare systems have progressed in establishing clinical information systems aimed at improving patient care.
Healthcare’s Most Wired Survey, conducted between January 15 and March 15, asked hospitals and health systems nationwide to answer questions concerning their IT initiatives. Respondents completed nearly 700 surveys, representing more than 1,500 hospitals.
