Company appoints experienced technology finance executive, Dave Hahn, as CFO

DALEVILLE, Ind. – Boyce Systems, a leading provider of software and forms that power efficient and compliant financial operations for over 1,200 municipalities, schools, libraries, and utilities, announces the appointment of Dave Hahn as chief financial officer (CFO). The news comes after Tom Hall, longtime company controller, announced his retirement. Mr. Hall will remain with Boyce for several months and assist with the transition.

“Tom has been a valued asset to Boyce for more than twenty years and was instrumental as the business has prospered,” said Casey Stanley, president. “We are so grateful for Tom’s many contributions to Boyce, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”

Mr. Hahn is an accomplished senior leader and brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience. Having served as a chief financial executive at multiple technology companies, he is intimately familiar with operating software businesses and has a successful track record in building and managing financial, human resources, information & technology, and facilities functions.

“Dave is the right leader at the right time as we look to build on a year of solid growth and set our sights on an exciting new chapter for the company,” said Jason Harrington, CEO of Boyce. “With our accelerating move to cloud-based products, Dave’s experience managing larger software companies is what we need to expedite our plans to do even more for our customers.”

Mr. Hahn joins Boyce at an exciting time as it was acquired by a local group of owner-operators last year. The added software management experience and investment have already led to additional hiring, accelerated innovation, and plans to make more cloud-based software solutions available to its customers.

“I’ve known of Boyce’s excellent reputation as a company that builds innovative solutions and earns long-term loyal relationships with their customers,” said Hahn. “Boyce’s market-leading position and working with people I’ve known and trusted is an impressive combination. I’m grateful to be part of the team and look forward to building on a wonderful legacy.”

Before joining Boyce, Hahn served as CFO of Muncie, IN-based Ontario Systems, a leading provider of revenue recovery software and technology to the healthcare, ARM, and public sector markets. During Mr. Hahn’s more than 30 years in private accounting, other roles include CFO positions at General Truck Sales and Indiana Finance Company.
