Yorktown 12U Tigers Hold On Against Kentucky 13-7

By: Casey Stanley— Lexie Robertson led Yorktown – both from the plate and the mound – to victory against Kentucky on Monday 13-7 to improve to 2-0 in pool play at the Little League® Central Region Majors (12u) Softball tournament in Indianapolis. By: Casey Stanley— After a big opening round win against Team Nebraska on Saturday in the Little League® Majors (12U) Softball Regional Tournament, Team Indiana (Yorktown JAA) continued pool play against Team Ohio yesterday. Rally Sparks Win for the Yorktown Jaa LL 12U Softball Tigers

By: Casey Stanley— Team Indiana, a/k/a the Yorktown 12U girls tournament softball team, opened play last night at the Central Region Little League tourney against a very strong Nebraska team. At stake in this tournament is a trip to the Little League world series in Portland, OR.
