MUNCIE, IN — The second annual Magic City Brewfest, presented by Muncie Downtown Development Partnership (MDDP), will once again bring together a range of craft breweries, wineries, distilleries, non-alcoholic beverages, music, artisans, and makers. The event takes place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Madjax Maker Force, 515 E Main, Muncie, IN, from 2-5 p.m.
“This is an exciting event for the Community. Muncie has really been on the forefront of craft beer since long before it was nationally a big deal.” MDDP Events Director Cheryl Crowder said. “We actually have a very cool history with the Heorot downtown carrying more than 500 beers and earning the title of No. 1 beer bar in the United States multiple times, as well as three local breweries. Downtown Muncie’s craft beer history is something to celebrate!”
Whether a seasoned beverage connoisseur or a craft brew beginner, Magic City Brewfest will have drinks, entertainment, and plenty to do for everyone. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit Mad Axe, The Aerial Annex, SteVen Knipp Hair Design, JohnTom’s BBQ, and The Guardian Brewing Company.
“One of our goals is to help bring awareness to what Madjax has to offer and involve the makers who use the space there,” Crowder said. “Folks can visit businesses, tour the brewery, and shop with local makers, all while enjoying beverage samples and food trucks with their friends.”
Tickets to the Magic City Brewfest are available at downtownmuncie.org/brewfest starting at $45. Ticket price covers admission and drink samples. Only 400 Brewfest tickets are available so get them early.
A VIP experience sponsored by Elm Street Brewing is also scheduled from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at 7 Rock Brew, located just two blocks north of Madjax, and will include special food and brew samples and a tour of the brewery. VIP tickets include early admission to Brewfest. Shuttles are being provided by Alford Rods and Kustoms from 7 Rock Brew to Madjax and back. Only 75 tickets are available for the VIP pre-party at 7 Rock Brew. This is a 21+ event. All organizations involved ask that attendees please drink responsibly.
