MUNCIE, IN – Students at Muncie Central High School are taking action for a meaningful cause. The Muncie Central Student Council is organizing a Riley Fun Run 5K as part of their Riley Fundraiser Project to support the children receiving care at Riley Hospital for Children.

 Event Date: March 15, 2025

 Time: 9 a.m.—12 p.m.

Location: Muncie Central High School Campus

This event is open to the entire Muncie community, and everyone is encouraged to participate—whether by running, walking, or simply showing support. All proceeds will go directly to Riley Children’s Hospital, helping provide life-saving treatments and care for children in need.

“This fundraiser means a lot to us because Riley Hospital does so much for families across Indiana,” said Jamar Clark, Student Council Chair. “We want to give back and show that Muncie supports the children fighting battles every day.”

Assisting in leading the event are Student Council Assistant Chairs Amaya Stoudmire and Clayton Dick, along with a team of dedicated student volunteers.

“We encourage everyone to come out, bring friends and family, and be a part of something bigger than ourselves,” said Stoudmire. “Every step we take helps Riley kids receive the best care possible.”

Let’s come together, Muncie—lace up those running/walking shoes and help make a difference for Riley kids.
