Muncie Noon Rotary Club Awards $10,120 in Grants to Local Nonprofits

MUNCIE, IN – The Muncie Noon Rotary Club is excited to announce the awarding of $10,120 in grants to nine local nonprofit organizations from the Rotary Club of Muncie Fund. These funds, housed at The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, will support various initiatives that enhance the well-being of the Muncie community.

This year saw the highest number of applications in the fund’s history, with 27 nonprofits applying for support. The selection process was highly competitive, making the decisions challenging for the Grants Selection Committee. Ultimately, nine organizations were selected for funding, with three receiving full funding and six receiving partial funding.

The organizations chosen for this year’s grants are:

  • 8Twelve Coalition
  • Cornerstone Center for the Arts,
  • ecoREHAB
  • First Choice For Women
  • Home Savers of Delaware County
  • Motivate Our Minds
  • Muncie Public Library
  • Muncie-Delaware County Senior Citizens Center
  • Nonprofit Support Network

Over the past 25 years, the Muncie Rotary Club has contributed nearly $220,000 to local nonprofit organizations, helping toadvance important community priorities in the areas of:

  • Education
  • Arts & Culture
  • Human Services
  • Economic Development
  • Community Betterment

With a commitment to the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self,” the Muncie Rotary Club continues to support the local nonprofit community and make a lasting impact in Delaware County.
