MUNCIE, Indiana – Ball State University is now accepting applications from landlords and property management companies to participate in the Off-Campus Quality Housing Initiative for the 2024-25 academic year.
Introduced last year, this self-certification program for local property management companies and landlords is designed to connect students with well-maintained off-campus housing options. Landlords and property management companies participating in the program agree to uphold specific standards that ensure a comfortable living environment conducive to student success.
“A comfortable and well-maintained living environment plays a crucial role in student achievement,” said T.J. Brecciaroli, associate vice president for student affairs and dean of students at Ball State. “This initiative empowers students to make informed choices about where they live and provides them with a foundation to focus on their academic goals.”
Landlords and property management companies interested in participating can find application details and program criteria via the online submission form. Applications for the 2024-25 academic year close on Aug. 31, 2024.
