MUNCIE, IN—August 24th, Thursday, at 7:00 pm – the Big Band musicians from America’s Hometown Band are again “Romancing the Boulevard” with their fabulous swing tunes. That’s 400 W Minnetrista Boulevard in Muncie, outside the front entrance of the E B & Bertha C Ball Center.
Big Band music is all about the joys & and heartbreaks of love. And this AHB group can really belt it out for the audience in this beautiful Minnetrista setting —tunes from the likes of the big names —Miller, Dorsey, Ellington, Basie, May, Strayhorn, Nestico.
This Free event is planned for lawn seating, open to all, and ample parking is also free just north across the street from the Center, at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
In case of rain, the concert moves to the Fairgrounds, to the nearby Heartland Building with seating provided.
