MUNCIE, IN—The Big Band musicians of America’s Hometown Band are returning to the Ball State University Arts Terrace quad for 2022. This group is set to entertain their audience with musical gems that feature that special Swing Sound. Always a crowd-favorite event, the performance is set for Thursday evening, July 28, starting at 7 pm . Admission is free and open to all.

Free parking is available just east of the quad in the McKinley parking structure, along the quad drive loop, and street parking along University across from the Student Center; plus the lots just west of Lucina Hall, and south of the Student Center, accessed from University Ave.

The non-profit, 501c3 group known as ‘America’s Hometown Band’ is Muncie’s municipal band, founded in 1988 by Roger McConnell & Dr. Philip Cooley. AHB depends on the gifts of many public-spirited individuals and groups to keep the music going every year. Individual donations are always welcome at any concert; donations can also be made via the AHB website www.amhometownband.org, or the Facebook page – America’s Hometown Band.
