MUNCIE, Ind. – The East Central Indiana Human Resources Association (ECIHRA) activated new leadership during their January membership meeting. Elected at the group’s final meeting in 2021, a new slate of officers will support the organization’s efforts to prepare local HR leaders for the current and future realities of the world of work through professional development and networking.
“ECIHRA is a great place to network with other professionals in HR, or who handle HR type responsibilities. We discuss great topics every month that impact our day-to-day roles and is a great source for professional development. It is also a great resource for job postings, HR tools, resources, employee regulation updates and more!” said ECIHRA President Kourtney McCauliff.
The 2022 board members are:
- April Conner, Human Resources Director, Academy of Model Aeronautics, Media Director
- Shelly Gage, Payroll & Accounts Payable, Muncie Public Library, Secretary and Membership Meeting Support
- Madelyn Heskett, Employer Relations Assistant, Ball State University Career Center, Student Chapter Liaison
- Tiffany Jennings, Corporate Director – Human Resources, AQUALIS, Membership Director
- Allison Juskevice, Talent Acquisition Regional Team Lead, Indiana University Health, Past President
- Kourtney McCauliff (SHRM-SCP), VP of Human Resources, Open Door Health Services, President
- James Mitchell (SHRM-CP), Director of HR and Employee Experience, Minnetrista, President-Elect / Program Director
- Rebecca Stillwagon (PHR), Operations Coordinator, Navient, Treasurer
The board members began their terms effective January 1, 2022.
Additionally, ECIHRA invites all of the region’s HR professionals and those with HR functions as part of their current job to attend our monthly workshops and consider joining the organization. Some highlights of the upcoming program content include presentations on

ECIHRA typically shares meeting content to address a variety of professional development topics relevant for HR offices of all sizes. These include retirement planning and financial issues for employees; diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging topics; wellness and wellbeing; self-exploration and teambuilding; recruitment and retention; legal issues and compliance; benefits.
