MUNCIE, Ind.—Two local non-profit agencies with long histories in the Muncie community have come together to provide an added benefit to symphony attendees this upcoming season.
The Muncie Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and Hillcroft Services’ Reliable Transit Division have partnered together for the 2021-22 MSO season to provide FREE shuttle service for MSO patrons in need of extra assistance to and from the two main parking lots that feed Emens Auditorium. This service will be offered for all six shows starting with the September 18th performance of Michael Cavanaugh: The Music of Billy Joel.
This shuttle service will be offered to and from the McKinley Avenue and New York Street Parking Garages one hour prior to show time and will resume immediately following the conclusion of the show for 30 minutes.
Dan Wolfert, VP of Development & Marketing at Hillcroft said that “This is a perfect opportunity for us to partner with another amazing non-profit organization in our community and operate our fleet of vans to offer a valuable service forany MSO patrons who may need it.”

Many that attend our concerts have found it increasingly difficult to walk from the parking lots to Emens Auditorium. We are striving to assist them and believe that Hillcroft’s Reliable Transit Division is the answer.” said Scott Watkins, Executive Director of the MSO.
