Muncie, IN—Whitinger & Company LLC is proud to announce that staff accountants, Alison Wallpe and Lauren Dickson, recently completed all required Indiana exams and certifications to achieve their CPA license.
Wallpe, a native of Greensburg, Indiana, attended Ball State University where she received both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Accounting. She earned distinction on the Dean’s List each semester. While at Ball State, she was a member of both the Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies.
Alison joined the Muncie team as a full-time staff accountant in January 2019. In this role, she is primarily responsible for accounting, consulting, and tax compliance services for businesses and individuals. She also works on the firm’s audit team specializing in employee benefit plans and non-profits.
A native of New Palestine, Indiana, Lauren Dickson graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Minor in Spanish. During college, she was heavily involved in the Ball State community as a Reporter for Beta Alpha Psi, and a member of both the Accounting Club and The Ball State Women in Business group. Before joining Whitinger & Company full-time in September of 2019, Lauren was a tax intern with the firm.
As a Staff Accountant in the firm’s Indianapolis office, she works with clients to prepare tax returns and performs tax planning and research for individual and business clients.
