Muncie, IN—The East Central Indiana club of the American Advertising Federation has opened entries for the 2020 American Advertising Awards. Entries are open now through Jan. 31; all submitted work must have first appeared between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 of 2019.

“The American Advertising Awards is one of the industry’s largest creative competitions, attracting nearly 35,000 professional and student entries each year through local club competitions,” the national organization’s website says. “The mission of the American Advertising Awards is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in advertising.”

Professionals and students can submit a variety of work in the eight available categories: Sales & Marketing, Print Advertising, Out-Of-Home & Ambient Media, Online/Interactive, Film, Video & Sound, Cross Platform, Elements of Advertising, and Public Service. This includes newspaper and magazine advertising, billboards, websites, social media, radio and television advertising, posters, logo design and more.

Visit aafeci.org to enter the 2020 ADDYs and to read the official rules and regulations. Entrants should note that all entries must be submitted online and at the physical drop- off location. Physical entries must be submitted on Jan. 31 between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Ball State University Alumni Center, Conference Room 1.

Entries will be judged anonymously by out-of-district industry professionals, and winners will be presented at an ADDY gala in late February (exact date to be determined). Local winners will have a chance to compete in the district and national competitions.
