Human Plus: Real Lives + Real Engineering

Discover compelling stories of engineers and users who design and use technologies to help themselves and others achieve their goals—from everyday routines to lifelong dreams. Explore and create a range of low tech and high tech tools that restore and extend human abilities. From customized wheelchairs for off-roading, to a vest that lets you feel music, to neuro-prosthetic limbs controlled by a user’s thoughts, Human Plus showcases an innovative field of engineering that improves our lives every day.
HUMAN PLUS was created by the New York Hall of Science in partnership with OMSI and the Quality of Life Technology Center with funding from the National Science Foundation.
Indiana Artists Membership Exhibition

Discover the work of Indiana artists in this special juried exhibition at Minnetrista. Artist members must have been born in, or lived in, Indiana for the past two consecutive years, as well as having been accepted into three different sponsored exhibitions. Current members work spans a wide variety of styles and mediums, both contemporary and traditional. Ned Griner Exhibition

Experience the artwork and learn about the life history of the talented Ned Griner, local artist and teacher. Explore the distinct collections of his career, including his jewelry pieces, Parades & Events, and Rubber Stamp Prints, and discover how art can enrich the lives of people in all walks of life. This activity is made possible, in part, with support from the Community Foundation of Randolph County, the Indiana Arts Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
