Muncie, IN—Aim higher this summer by enrolling your child in Delaware County’s premiere 7-week long youth enrichment program, AIM Summer Day Camp. AIM develops children’s academic and life skills, ensuring they are prepared for their next year of school. Enrollment for AIM is open to students entering kindergarten through 8th grade.
Our summer day camp balances the critical importance of learning with traditional camp activities. Students will be immersed in a variety of experiences in cohesion with weekly themes. Recreational activities consist of weekly excursions to local parks and Tuhey Pool, as well as weekly field trips to destinations outside of city limits. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are served daily in cooperation with Chartwells and Fresh Directions.
Programming runs Monday-Friday, June 5 to July 19, 2019, from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Students who are entering Kindergarten through 5th grade will be hosted at Southside Middle School. Students who are currently in 6th grade through 8th grade will be hosted at the Buley Center Unit. Campers may be dropped off and opt to be transported to Southside from Buley Center or Madison St. at 7:45 a.m.
A $25 enrollment fee is per child is required. Full pricing is $35 per week per child, though a multiple child discount is available. Reduced fee options are also available based on the qualifications for the Free/Reduced lunch program. If your student receives reduced lunch pricing, your AIM fee is $10/week. If your student receives free lunch pricing, your AIM fee is $5/week. Your student’s lunch ID number is required to receive appropriate pricing. Sunrise Club is an option this year. Sunrise Club opens at 6:45 a.m. for students whose parents may need to be at work early. The cost for Sunrise Club is $5/week for students who meet qualifications for free/reduced lunch and $10/week for all others.
