Study 1
A research team in the Human Performance Laboratory and Psychophysiological, Attention, Cognition and Emotion Laboratory are conducting a study involving boys and girls with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The purpose of the study is compare the effect of single bout of exercise on the ability to concentrate and correctly respond to a computerized test in comparison to the effect of standard treatment with stimulant medication. Children who are 8-14 years of age with a diagnosis of ADHD and presently using stimulant medication (e.g. Ritalin, Concerta, Adderall) may be eligible to participate. Three visits to the Ball State campus are required with each visit lasting 60-90 minutes. Participants will be compensated with $10 for completing all phases of the study.

Study 2
Researchers in the Human Performance Laboratory at Ball State University need apparently healthy children 8.0-12.9 years of age to be participants in a research study examining the effect of weight status on metabolic flexibility. This research project will consist of a minimum of two visits, each lasting approximately 60-75 minutes. Participants will be paid $20 at the end of the final visit, for completing the study.

Study 3
Researchers at Ball State University need children who are between 7 and 12 years of age to participate in a study. The purpose of the study is to examine cardiovascular regulation, physical fitness, and motor skills in children with and without Autism Spectrum Disorder. Participation requires two visits to Ball State University. Each visit will last between 45 and 75 minutes.
