Muncie, IN — The Academy of Model Aeronautics will host the Indiana Warbird Campaign at the International Aeromodeling Center August 31 – September 2. The event will begin with open flying on Thursday. Both Friday and Saturday will include a noon-time air show, “The Yanks are Coming”, a salute to the U.S. entering WWI. You will not want to miss it as parachutists kick off the show on Saturday. Product vendors and food vendors will be on site both days. The cost is $5 per car load. See the full schedule below:
Friday:
7:00 am – Dawn Patrol
8:00 am – Open Flying
12:30 pm – Air Show “The Yanks Are Coming”

4:00 pm – Turn & Burn Mini Electric Warbird Race
6:00 pm – Open Flying (including small electrics)
Saturday:
7:00 am – Dawn Patrol (presented by BALSA USA)
8:00 am – Open Flying
10:00 am – Warbird & Classics Alliance
