Muncie, IN—The City of Muncie has announced the appointment of Kevin Nemyer to the position of City Controller.
Kevin has a Master’s of Business Administration from Ball State University and has extensive experience in management, supervision and cost control. He has also served on the Delaware County Council as Finance Committee Chair and on the Liberty-Perry School Board where he oversaw the school corporation budget.
Kevin has most recently served as the Assistant Director of Community Development where he was responsible for managing all financial matters for the department and the administration for all Public Service Agencies receiving HUD grant dollars in Muncie.
Kevin is an avid cyclist and IronMan competitor. He has also been named as the first recipient of the Thrive Community Leader Award for his is commitment to the community.
