Jason Adamowicz has been hired as the Vice President of Operations
Muncie, IN—Jason Adamowicz has been hired into a new position for the YMCA of Muncie. He will provide operational support and leadership to our four membership facilities, Apple Tree Child Development Center and Camp Crosley YMCA. Jason has been a member of our community since 1995 when he moved here from Ft. Wayne to attend Ball State University. He then served the university, after his graduation, in the Office of Sports Facilities Management / Recreation Services in many roles with the last being Associate Director. Jason and his wife, Karynn, have three children. He is also active in his local Parish and volunteers his time on several committees. Jason is enthusiastic to become a part of such a large Christian based organization saying, “I am excited to take the Y’s mission and impact the community that I live in and call home.”
In October 2016, the Y hired CEO, Chad Zaucha, whose main focus has been aligning our infastructure and working in the community to improve and form partnerships to address pressing community needs. Jason’s responsibilities will have an internal focus through operations, staff development and providing quality programs and services within our branches.
“We are extremely excited about Jason’s skill set and the experience he brings to the table. However, we are even more excited about Jason’s character, temperament, and service-oriented mindset. Jason is an A player and we look forward to working alongside him to expand the depth and breadth of the Y’s impact,” said YMCA CEO, Chad Zaucha.
