For ninety-six years, the Exchange Club of Muncie has served the Muncie, Delaware County area with time and money dedicated to American patriotism, building our community, supporting services for children, and preventing child abuse.
Since March 7th 1921, Muncie’s Exchange Club has been dedicated to our community and is best know for distribution of American Flags during the Ball State Homecoming parade, working at the Cardinal Greenway’s Polar Express toy distribution, and annually displaying over a thousand American flags at Minnetrista for Patriots’s Day. Exchange Club participates in the Veterans Day celebration at Muncie Central High School.
The Exchange Club does much more. The organization, in conjunction with Minnetrista, Hoosier Flag Company, and Sheriff Dudley, gave a deluxe American flag to every member of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department at Christmas. Monetary support for the Muncie Mission, A Better Way, YWCA, Teamwork for Quality Living, Muncie Police Department of Domestic Violence Unit, Boys and Girls Club, AMVETS Royerton, American Legion Post 19, Prevention of Child Abuse – Delaware County, Muncie Fire Department’s Toys for Tots, the Salvation Army, and more.
Exchange Club exchanges ideas at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Purdue Avenue every Thursday promptly at 11:45. If you are interested in joining us in our endeavors, come join us for a meal and a speaker, become a member and make a difference.
