YMCA of Muncie Announces CFO Transition: Honoring Debbie Todd and Welcoming Daniel Baker

MUNCIE, IN—The YMCA of Muncie is honored to announce the retirement of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Debbie Todd, celebrating her remarkable 36.5 years of service, and to introduce Daniel Baker as her successor.

Honoring Debbie Todd

Debbie Todd has been an integral part of the YMCA of Muncie, leading with integrity and a deep commitment to the organization’s mission. Her meticulous stewardship of resources has enabled the YMCA to grow and deliver impactful programs that have touched countless lives in the community.

To honor Debbie’s extraordinary contributions, the YMCA of Muncie will dedicate the Administrative Offices in the New YMCA as the Debbie Todd Administrative Offices. This lasting tribute reflects her legacy of vision, integrity, and tireless dedication to advancing the YMCA’s mission.

“Debbie’s leadership has been a guiding force for the YMCA of Muncie,” said Chad Zaucha, CEO of the YMCA of Muncie. “Her impact will continue to inspire everyone who walks through the doors of the New YMCA. We are forever grateful for her incredible service.”

Welcoming Daniel Baker

The YMCA of Muncie is excited to welcome Daniel Baker as the new CFO.

Daniel brings a wealth of leadership experience from his distinguished military and civilian careers. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a Master Sergeant (MSgt) in the Air National Guard, Daniel has honed exceptional skills in strategic planning, resource management, and leadership. His civilian roles include positions at Hewlett Packard and TC Energy, as well as serving as President & CEO of Randolph County United, where he led transformative community development initiatives.

As CFO, Daniel will focus on advancing the YMCA’s financial strategy, ensuring long-term sustainability, and aligning resources to expand the YMCA’s reach and impact.

“We are excited to welcome Daniel Baker to the YMCA of Muncie,” said Chad Zaucha. “His mission-driven leadership and passion for community building make him a valuable addition to the YMCA.”
