MUNCIE, IN—The Vore Arts Fund is now accepting applications for funding art projects.

The application period will close at the end of January and is open to any local artists, performers, art educators, galleries, and performance venues who would benefit from zero-interest loans to cover the up-front costs of their commercial arts-related projects, such as purchasing materials for producing art, buying the rights to theater productions, booking time in a recording studio, or ordering supplies for art workshops.

From February 15th through the 28th, the public is invited to review applications for funding and cast votes for the projects that they’d like to see supported. Disbursement of awarded funds will then take place in early March.

The Vore Arts Fund, named in memory of the late community activist Phil Vore, is a Muncie-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization seeking to empower the local art community through the operation of a risk-free revolving loan fund for anyone engaged in profit-generating activity in the arts.
