Steve Selvey Appointed to Muncie Sanitary District Board

MUNCIE, IN The City of Muncie is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Selvey to the Muncie Sanitary District Board. This appointment follows Steve’s recent retirement after five years of dedicated service as the City of Muncie Building Commissioner.

With a wealth of experience in city governance, infrastructure, and public service, Steve Selvey brings a unique and valuable perspective to the Muncie Sanitary District board. During his tenure as Building Commissioner, Steve played a key role in overseeing building projects, ensuring safety standards, and streamlining processes to promote growth and development throughout the city.

“Steve has been an integral part of our community for many years, and his expertise in public administration, and finance will be an incredible asset to the Muncie Sanitary District,” said Rick Conrad, District Administrator. “We are confident that his leadership and experience will help us continue our efforts to improve wastewater management and public health services for Muncie residents.”

In his new role, Steve will work alongside fellow board members to support the Sanitary District’s mission of providing reliable and sustainable waste management solutions while promoting environmental stewardship across the community.

“I am excited to continue my service to the city in this new capacity,” said Steve Selvey. “I look forward to working with the board and staff of the Muncie Sanitary District to ensure we continue to provide essential services to our residents and plan for the future growth and sustainability of our infrastructure.”
