Small Business Development Center Welcomes Three New Team Members

MUNCIE, IN—The East Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) recently announced the addition of three new team members, each bringing a unique set of skills and experience to the organization. These new employees will help East Central Indiana SBDC continue to provide essential support and resources to small businesses in the region.

Clint Albert, the new Program Specialist at the East Central Indiana SBDC, brings a decade of experience as an insurance agent and in leadership roles in retail and coaching. He is passionate about inspiring and leading others and is excited to contribute to the economic development of East Central Indiana. Clint is already planning several events including QuickBooks workshops, an Exporting 101 course, and a seminar about starting a business. Clint can be reached at CAlbert@isbdc.org.

Claudia Metzger, the new Ecosystem Navigator, aims to foster an environment that supports small business growth and success by connecting entrepreneurs to resources. With a Bachelor’s in Interpersonal Communication Studies and Sociology and a Master’s in Information and Communication Sciences, Claudia is excited to build community connections. She draws inspiration from women like WaTasha Barnes Griffin, Kirsten Smith, and Dr. Laura O’Hara and values giving back to the community. Claudia can be reached at cmetzger@isbdc.org.

Lisa Green is the new Office Administrator and manages office functions, supports staff, and serves as the first point of contact for clients. Drawing from her education and corporate experience background, Lisa uses her skills to assist individuals in achieving their small business goals. She is vital in coordinating events and marketing activities, compiling reports, managing public relations, and assigning new clients to Business Advisors. Lisa’s dedication and expertise will contribute to the organization’s success and the achievement of entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The East Central Indiana SBDC plays an important role in supporting small businesses throughout the region. By offering consulting services and data resources at no cost, the SBDC empowers small businesses to contribute to the growth of their local economies.
