The ECICO group is a fusion of local currently-performing adult musicians and a changing roster of Ball State University music students. This small orchestra stages one concert per Spring & Fall semester, at various local venues. Programs feature various Guests – composers, conductors, soloists, choirs, or ensembles from across the East Central Indiana area. ECICO concert admission is always free and open to the public, and each program seeks to share the experience and joy of a live orchestra performance with new audiences of all ages and areas of the region. Local support comes from the George & Frances Ball Foundation, the Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, the Muncie School Corporation, and many individual private donors.
