MUNCIE, IN—The Muncie Branch of the American Association of University Women and the League of Women Voters of Muncie-Delaware County will sponsor a panel discussion about the Equal Rights Amendment and voting during Women’s Week at Ball State University.
The panel discussion, titled “A Woman’s Only Right – To Vote,” will start at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, in the Forum Room of Ball State’s Student Center.
Panelists will be Sue Errington, Indiana House representative for District 34; Linda Hanson, president of the local LWV and the state president for Indiana’s LWV; and Melissa Gentry, noted local historian on the contributions of Indiana women and maps collections supervisor for Bracken Libraries at Ball State. Moderator will be Melinda Messineo, professor of sociology at Ball State.
A drawing for giveaways honoring women will take place at the conclusion of the panel discussion.
