Muncie Comic Con Will Return for its Second Year on April 15, 2023

MUNCIE, IN Muncie Comic Con will return for its second year April 15, 2023 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.  Doors to the Heartland Building will open at 10:00 am and will close at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $10 and children under 10 are free. VIP tickets are $15.00 which allows early entrance at 9:30 am and also includes a free exclusive Muncie Comic Con print by award winning cartoonist, Art Baltazar.

There will be vendors selling comic books, art prints, original art, pop culture related arts and crafts, and so much more. The cosplay contest parade will take place at 3:30 with the winners being announced after its completion.

Zach from 104.9 WERK FM will be broadcasting live from 11am to 1pm from the event.

Cindy Britton, comic book enthusiast and long-time Muncie resident enjoyed last year’s show and said “I didn’t know what to expect with a comic con here in Muncie last year but it was surprisingly full of fun. There were vendors of all sorts and well-known artists that I was surprised to see here. They had a costume contest and Harley Quinn even showed up. This is a must see and I plan on being there this year.”

Comic Book Guests

We are proud to announce these amazing creators have joined our lineup: Art Baltazar (Tiny Titans, DC Super-Pets, Aw Yeah Comics), John Tyler Christopher (Star Wars, Marvel), Thom Zahler (My Little Pony, Cupid’s Arrows), Jason Douglas (Parallel, Jane American), Bob Frantz (MetalShark Bro, Monty the Dinosaur), Garrett Gunn (Warcorns, Good Boy, Curse of Cleaver County). We are delighted to have such award winning and fan favorite comic book creators at Muncie Comic Con.

Stuart Sayger, a guest at many shows across the country said that last year’s Muncie Comic Con was a “Perfect little one day show with guests I wanted to meet and things I wanted to buy.”
