MUNCIE, IN—Celebrate the return of All Things Spring – with an evening of seven short, light-hearted works from the likes of Mozart, Beethoven, Lin Manuel Miranda, and more. This East Central Indiana Chamber Orchestra date is scheduled at Northside Middle School Auditorium on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at 7 pm.
Join them for a lovely, sweet program of pieces that blend into a Spring tonic for everyone. The orchestra is ledby Conductor Carlos Hernandez, BSU Graduate Conducting candidate, with Associate Conductor Isaac Denniston, Director of Choirs at Muncie Northside Middle School.
NMS is located at 2400 W Bethel Ave. in Muncie. Admission & parking are Free, and open to all. It is the perfectly simple opportunity to introduce your kids, family-folk of all ages, or yourself to the world of live orchestra and its uniquely timeless musical gems – right here in Muncie and at no cost.
The ECICO group is a fusion of local currently-performing adult musicians and a changing roster of Ball State University music students. This small orchestra stages one concert per Spring & Fall semester, at various local venues. Programs feature various Guests—composers, conductors, soloists, choirs, or ensembles from across the East Central Indiana area.
ECICO concert admission is always free and open to the public, and each program seeks to share the experience and joy of a live orchestra performance with new audiences of all ages and areas of the region. Local support comes from the George & Frances Ball Foundation, the Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, the Muncie School Corporation, and many individual private donors.
