Joann McKinney Receives Rotarian of the Year Award

FISHERS, IN—Rotary District 6560 comprised of 44 Rotary Clubs in Central Indiana recently presented Joann McKinney, President & CEO of Horizon Convention Center and long-time Muncie Noon Rotarian, the Rotarian of the Year Award at the 2022 Rotary District 6560 Mid-Year Conference held at Launch Fishers on October 8th.

“This was quite a surprise and totally unexpected. I’m very honored and humbled by receiving this award,” McKinney said.

Immediate Past-District Governor Ray Kramp presented McKinney with the award.

McKinney began her service in Rotary in 2001. She currently is the Rotary Youth Exchange Inbound Coordinator for the District and a District Assistant Governor.

“The entire club is ecstatic that Joann was recognized for her countless hours of service in the Rotary Youth Exchange program,” stated Muncie Noon Rotary President Matt Howell.
