MUNCIE, Ind.—Did you know that our Club members can go through over 12,000 snacks over the course of the Summer? Our youth at Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie are continually learning and growing, and a nourishing & consistent diet is a huge part of what allows them to thrive. That’s why we’re running a Snack Drive from May 9th through May 29th:
To give them the resources & support they deserve. However, we can’t provide over 12,000 snacks all on our own. We would greatly appreciate any donations to the Clubs, which can be done by purchasing from our Amazon Wishlist or by donating online and typing SNACKS in the additional information box. The snacks that you help us provide to our Club members will help us give them an enjoyable & impactful experience at this year’s Summer Camp.
Each Summer, we provide programming for Club members from kindergarten through 8th Grade during our Summer Camp. We aim to give our kids a safe, fun, and educational experience to ensure that they maintain their academic and personal growth during a period where it might be easy to lose some of what they learned during the school year. Some examples of our programs include college visits, touring museums, and of course spending plenty of time outdoors. Online & In-person registration will be available from May 9th until June 3rd, and Summer Camp will run from June 8th through July 22nd.
In-person registration for Summer Camp will be held at our Madison Street Unit Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10:30 AM to 1 PM beginning the week of May 9th. If you would like to make a food donation for the Snack Drive, please drop off any physical donations at our Madison Street Unit as well. If you are interested in becoming a Partner or would like more information on how to donate, please contact Amy Gibson at 765-282-4461.
