MUNCIE, Ind. – Looking for fun activities to do with your kids and family? Madjax is hosting Super “Twos Day” as a chance to explore, discover and create with mini maker workshops and STEM giveaways. Madjax is excited to celebrate this unique day and offer workshops, tours and demonstrations completely free to the public.
“We believe that curiosity and exploration help fuel the work of the future,” said Kyra Zylstra, director of Future of Work at Madjax. “Maker and STEM exploration stations will provide the opportunity to create, design, and build. These interactive activities are created and led by the team through the Future of Work and Muncie Technology and Engineering Network partnerships.”
Super ‘Twos Day’ will be Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, starting at 2 p.m., with two sessions of featured activities– from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In addition to the maker and STEM workshops, there will be building tours, special features from the makers and businesses in the building, an open house for Purdue Polytechnic’s Accelerated Leadership Program, and a unique chance to use the Madjax Design Lab.
“The Madjax Design Lab connects local makers with tools and equipment they normally wouldn’t have access to,” said Tina Black, Madjax director of operations. “Anyone can get a membership to the Design Lab for just $25 a month and learn to make their own projects. We’ve got 3D printers, a laser cutter, a waterjet metal and glass cutter, a sewing machine, and so much more. Come see what you can do in the Design Lab.”
