Muncie, IN—The Haiti Library Foundation, Inc. based out of Muncie is hosting its 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off Challenge. The annual event pits 14 cooking teams comprised of primarily local businesses, organizations and individuals. Teams compete against one another in various categories:
Best Chili (as determined by a panel of judges)
People’s Choice (as voted on by all attendees)
Rookie of the Year
Best Table Theme and Presentation
Top Fundraiser
Attendees of the Chili Cook-Off get samples of chili from each team, appetizers, drinks, and desserts. Plus, with their paid admission, each participant receives a ballot to cast their vote for the favorite team for the coveted People’s Choice Award.
To help celebrate our 10th anniversary of this great event, one of the competing teams will be comprised of three Haitians; Fr. Andre Sylveste, Fr. Pedro Laguerre, and Assene Guibert. These gentlemen have played key roles to our success in Haiti.
