Muncie, IN—Muncie Habitat for Humanity partnered with Lynd Place for their Annual Festival of Trees to raise funds that will go towards helping build a home for a local family.
Numerous trees, big and small, decorated by local businesses and individuals were donated to the Festival of Trees to be auctioned off. Some trees included gift cards for various restaurants in town. Some trees were themed including Dr. Seuss with books included, American themed with flags and bows, a snowman tree complete with a scarf and hat, and an education tree with pencils, crayons, and scissors hanging from it.
On December 4, Lynd Place raised $2,450 for Habitat for Humanity. Andy Wagner from Wagner Auction & Real Estate held the auction while attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and wine.
“It was such a wonderful evening that allowed members of the community enjoy the spirit of Christmas while giving back to our organization,” stated Habitat for Humanity CEO Lindsey Arthur. “We are grateful to Lynd Place for partnering with us and raising the money to help us fulfill our mission.”
