Muncie, Indiana—Join us this summer to learn and explore new artistic skills through one of our various glass workshops.
Stained Glass Sun-Catcher Workshop—August 3; 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Add some sparkle and shimmer to your house this summer with handcrafted stained glass sun catchers. In this workshop you will be able to choose from a wide variety of patterns and glass to create a fun and unique beach themed sun catcher. Instructors will teach you how to cut, solder, and grind your very own, beautiful piece of art to display with pride. Registration deadline is August 1st. Cost is $45 per person and member discounts apply.
Glass Pendants Workshop—August 24; 1 p.m.–4 p.m.
It’s a blast with glass! Create your very own glass pendant along with family and friends at our glass workshop this summer. This workshop is open to beginner and intermediate glass artists alike. Equipped with a wide selection of unique colors to choose from, each handcrafted pendant will be one of a kind. Registration deadline is August 22. Cost is $55 person and member discounts apply.
Glass Torch Work Open Hours—August 23 & 24; 5 p.m.–8 p.m.
Minnetrista is excited to offer glass working space and materials to those glassworkers in the community who have already attended a flame working workshop with us in the past. As you seek to continue honing your glass working skills, Minnetrista will provide an open environment where you can experiment creatively and learn adventurously. During these sessions, attendees may continue practicing projects and techniques previously learned in guided workshop classes. Cost is $20/hour per person.
