Each session will include information, cooking demonstrations, food samples, and free kitchen tool giveaways. Participants who attend all four workshops will receive a free cookbook.
The workshops begin on Wednesday, July 10 at 4 p.m. and will be held each Wednesday throughout July at 4 p.m. Registration is required, but walk-ins are welcome if space allows. Register on the library website at www.munciepubliclibrary.org or by calling 765-747-8204. A library card is never required for MPL events and programs.
The kitchen pavilion is part of the Gateway to Gardening Pavilions at Maring-Hunt Library. Ball State University students build the pavilions under the leadership of Dr. Pam Harwood. The goal of the pavilion project is to address food insecurity, encourage neighborhood interaction, and provide learning opportunities. Funding for the project was made possible through a variety of neighborhood, coalition, and other grant sources.
Maring-Hunt Library is located at 2005 S. High Street in Muncie, IN.
