Muncie, IN—The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie has announced Amy Gibson as the new director of grant based initiatives.
Gibson is the first person to hold the new position. “This position will allow the Boys and Girls Clubs of Muncie the opportunity to form a closer relationship with our community partners,” comments CEO Jason Newman.
Newman, who just celebrated his one year anniversary with the Club, set out to create new, exciting programs to engage the youth they see daily. It’s through the support of many community partners that the new programs are successful. Gibson will join the executive team including Jason Newman, CEO, and Qiana Clemens, COO.
Gibson previously was the executive assistant for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie. She held the position for 2 years before moving to the new role. She brings 25 years of administration experience to the club, previously working for Ball State, Rutter Communications, and Elite Print Services. “I love kids and that was my main reason for coming to the Clubs. My new role will help us continue to make impactful relationships with our community partners and thus help the kids we serve.”
