Ball State Athletics, Woof Boom Radio Renew Contract to 2023

Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Coaches’ Shows Now on Dedicated Frequencies

Muncie, IN. – Ball State University and its athletics multimedia rightsholder, Learfield, announced today a renewed agreement with Woof Boom Radio through the 2022-23 collegiate athletic season.

As part of the extended broadcast relationship, the respective Ball State programming carried by Woof Boom stations will be on their own dedicated stations. The new line up begins this fall as follows:

Football – WLBC 104.1 FM

Men’s Basketball – WERK 104.9 FM, WBKQ 96.7 FM

Women’s Basketball – WXFN 1340 AM and 102.9FM

Coaches’ Shows – WXFN 1340 AM and 102.9FM

“This is a terrific advancement for the Ball State community and its fans,” Ball State Director of Athletics Beth Goetz said. “I’m pleased to grow our radio presence starting with the 2018-19 athletic season and appreciate Learfield and Woof Boom coming together on renewing and extending our brand through this five-year agreement.”
