Civic’s Cat in the Hat jumps off the page onto Cornerstone’s stage!
Muncie Civic Theatre and Cornerstone Center for the Arts proudly present Seussical the Musical, in the E.B.Ball Auditorium June 16th through July 1st.
The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing Whos. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant. This musical adventure of Dr. Seuss’s biggest hits will leave your whole family singing on the way home!
Muncie Civic Theatre and Cornerstone Center for the Arts are partners in the arts, together supporting the Muncie Community with cultural enrichment. As Civic has begun renovations to the historic Boyce Block building and theater, Cornerstone and their Board of Directors have stepped forward to provide the E.B.Ball Auditorium to Civic for this production. Our partnership makes Muncie a stronger arts community.
All shows are at Cornerstone’s E.B. Ball Auditorium June 16-18, 23-25, 29-30 and July 1. Thursday, Friday, & Saturday shows are at 7:30pm and the Sunday Matinees on June 18th and 25th are at 2:00pm. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for groups of 10+, and $13 for students & children. Reserved Seating.
