Muncie, IN – Jim Needham, member of the Muncie Rotary Club for over 30 years, received the Merrill Greene Award for 2017 from the Muncie Rotary Club. The award honors Merrill Greene, CPA, long-time Muncie Rotarian, volunteer and club treasurer for over two decades. The award honors a member for their outstanding volunteer efforts for the club and the community. Needham is a community leader, volunteer and is active in Rotary projects. Jim is an Emeritus Professor of Telecommunications —Ball State University, and former manager of WIPB-TV, the PBS television station in Muncie. Previous Merrill Greene Award recipients include: Merrill Greene, Terri Matchett, Joann McKinney, Julie Bering and Dale Basham.

The Muncie Rotary Club Installs 2017-2018 Officers
Rob Keisling, retiring 2016-2017 President of the Muncie Rotary Club, recently presided over the installation ceremonies for the installation of new officers and directors for the 2017-2018 Rotary year, which begins July 1st. Officers are elected to 1-year terms, while members of the Board of Directors are elected to staggered 3-year terms, so one class of directors is elected each year to replace the class which is retiring.
